PL 300 protection mat

ArchiGreen® PL 300 is needled felt, thermally treated on both sides, made of completely recycled high quality polyester fibres (PET) and falls under GRK3 robustness class. It provides mechanical protection to the root barrier and waterproofing membrane. Surface weight: 300 g/m2; thickness EN ISO 9863-1: 1.8 mm; CBR test EN ISO 12236: 1.5 kN, tensile strength MD/CMD EN ISO 10319: 6/7 kN/m, elongation at break MD/CMD: 45/40%; pore size EN ISO 12956: O90 = 0.078 mm; water permeability EN ISO 11058: 80 l/m2s; laid with an overlap of 100 mm. Complies with FLL guidelines 5.3/2002.

PL 300 is primarily used to serve protection purposes in an extensive green roof build-up, i.e., to guard the root barrier or the root-resistant waterproofing from physical damage. An overlapping of at least 100 mm is required between the adjacent protection mats. Openings must be cut in the protection mat above the roof outlets.
